I have over thirty years experience as an attorney, most of which has been in the area of Family law. Since 2001, my practices has been almost exclusively in the area of Family law. My Family law practice is focused on keeping parties out of court, if possible. I still go to court with a case if there is no other alternative. An out of court resolution of a family law matter is usually less expensive, private, more respectful and dignified, and less harmful to families and their children. I firmly belive that the collaborative law process is by far the best process to resolve family law disputes outside of court. I am also a trained family law mediator. Mediation is a good alternative to court. I also handle uncontested divorces and other family law matters in which the parties have reached an agreement and one of the parties wants an attorney to draft and process the paperwork.
