The Butler County Bar Association Foundation, the non-profit charitable arm of the Butler County Bar Association, recently awarded six (7) grants totaling $20,000 through its 2020 grant program. Grants were awarded to Butler County-based non-profit organizations that provide services to individuals and families struggling with poverty, abuse, crime and discrimination. The Bar Foundation awarded $1,500 to Glade Run Lutheran Services, $2,000 to The Lighthouse Foundation, $4,000 to Prospect Community Library, $4,000 to Bethany Christian Services of Western Pennsylvania, $2,000 to the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center, $2,500 to Butler County Region United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania and $4,000 to Grace Youth and Family Foundation.
