Annual Dues

BCBA is considered a PBA "Unit County." As such, we are required to collect PBA dues along with local dues. PBA dues are calculated on date of admission.

To qualify for bar association membership in Butler County, lawyers must meet the following criteria:

  • Be in good standing and admitted to the Supreme Court of PA.
  • Maintain principal office for practice or live in Butler County.

Government  Membership

  • Attorneys who work for a federal/state or local government entity on a full time basis - provided his/her office is located in the Commonwealth of PA are not bound by unit county rules and may elect to join either BCBA or PBA.
