About Us

The Butler County Bar Association (BCBA) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization comprised of attorneys and members of the judiciary who live in and/or practice law in Butler County. Founded in 1892 the Association exists to benefit its members as well as to serve the legal profession and the public at large.

 

Our Mission

 

The Association is formed to advance the science of jurisprudence; to promote the administration of justice; to see that no one, on account of poverty, is denied his or her legal rights; to secure proper legislation; to encourage a thorough legal education; to uphold the honor and dignity of the bar; to cultivate social interaction among the lawyers of Butler County, Pennsylvania, and to perpetuate the history of the profession and the memory of its members.

We fulfill our mission by:

  • Providing quality programs and services to our members.
  • Developing positive relationships between the bench and bar.
  • Keeping members and the public current about law-related news.
